Gandhi memorial
I went to see the Gandhi memorial, where he was creamated. A simple memorial in a little garden.
Then I went accros the street to the Gandhi museum. In it, in one glass case, they had the bullet that killed him, and the blood stained clothes that he was wearing at the time. I don't know how I feel about that.
One wing of the museum was an anti-war thing with war statistics, etc... But what something seemed a little out of place. In one frame they showed Gandhi, Martain Luther King Jr., and some other guy I don't know, which was fine, but also they had John Kennedy, and Abraham Lincoln. They were both also assasinated, but I don't think they could be considered anti-war, or pacifists, by any stretch of the imagination.
