Another chapter from OZ
I recently went scuba diving on the barrier reef for 3 days and saw some amazing things. I only saw one 6 foot reef shark, but that was plenty big enough. We also did a couple of night dives which was like being in space while trying to catch Lobsters at the same time.
Before that I went to Frasier island, the largest sand island in the world and rented a land rover with 7 other people. We all crammed in a and went around the island for 3 days which has numerous camp sites on it. One night, about 30 of us were having a sing along to the guitar when a park ranger came along and told us we had to be quiet after 10pm. We asked if he could play the guitar and he ended up singing with us for the next 2 hours until well after midnight. That was a fun night.
After that on my way to Cairns I stayed at a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere. This was quite interesting and on a tour of the farm the guide took my hat and shot it with a 12 gauge shotgun. It now has much better air conditioning. We also had a chance to throw boomerang's, sort of like playing frisbee with yourself I guess.
