Mark in Bangkok

I've just spent the last few weeks in the islands of Ko Tao and Ko Samui.  Did some great dives in Ko Tao where the visibility was amazing (under water that is).  I spent a week hanging out with a Swedish guy and another guy from Holland.  The guy from Sweden had actually brought his ice hockey stick with him?!

Anyhow, once in Thailand I was introduced to the local deadly drink here name Sang Thip.  It's basically Thai whiskey mixed with Fermaldehide (yes, the stuff they float dead frogs in from biology class!) and speed or some drug.  Anyhow, it goes down really easy and at 8 in the morning you wonder why you're not tired.  Anyhow, you feel its effects for days...

The food in Thailand is also great, especially all the seafood.  The people are very outgoing and friendly if you are too.  It is often difficult to tell if the Thai women really are Thai women, but I think I'll stay away all the same!  anyhow, gotta catch a night bus to Krabi (famous for rock climbing and close to the island from the James Bond movie "The man with the Golden Gun")
