Ouch

Hello
Itīs me. Sean. I woke up this morning with a very big bite on my body. I dont know what bit me last night but whatever it was Im glad I didnt see it. And Iīve been having stomach cramps for the last three days. Not too pleasant. Oh well. The joys of travelling in South America. I kind of feel stupid writing cuz I havenīt done anything for the last week. Iīm still in Piura, but I will be leaving for Cuenca Tuesday. I went to a local beach yesterday. I forgot the name. Iīll find out. But it was amazing. Just like you see in the photos. Beautiful women, big waves, fishing boats, poor living conditions for the locals (that wasnīt cool), hot hot hot, lots of pelicans, and I saw for the first time a buzzard. Iīm an idiot ... what is the name of those birds that are all black except for their head which is a featherless red? A buzzard is what comes to mind but I donīt think Iīm right. Anyways I have never seen one before. And there were many. I am very popular down here. White guy. I went to a club Friday night and people are always asking me to come to their table. One guy kept talking to me even after I adamantly told him Ļno espanol, no espanolĻ I guess he was drunk. And then a group of women called me over. But itīs pretty difficult when you canīt communicate. Iīve had two women down here tell me they love me. That they will remember me forever...ya right. Girls down here fall in love easily. And even though it may be that they want to be rescued from this place by some rich Canadian in a shiny white skin they do actually fall in love. Itīs crazy. The two girls that expressed their love are very different girls though. One is as sweet as can be...too bad for her butt. The other is what you might consider to be a stereotypical spanish woman. Very jelous and always wants me to be with her. When I was talking to that group of women in the club she was freaking out? Ya I really care about you too after two days. I will always remember you...that cracks me up. I saw her twice. Anyways...magic tricks are huge down here. Everyone loves the handkerchief trick. Noone has seen anything like it. I bought a guitar...only $90 Canadian and itīs not too bad. Weīll see how long that lasts. Itīs been incredibly hot down here. On average about 29 or 30 degrees. There was one day there that Iīm sure it was about 35. Not much else to tell you...things are good. I donīt miss home at all. I like getting emails...remember my address is sean@bentobox.net
Donīt do a return mail from this address. Hope you are all well.
Sean
