Feliz Navidad!
Merry Christmas to everybody.
We likely wonīt be on e-mail until after the holidays, and would like to wish everyone happy times over that special season of the year! Donīt drink too much, eat too much, or get lost in the snow (for those lucky few where applicable).
We are still in La Paz. And for those who donīt know, the last week has been, well, pretty crappy. Ollie came down with a bad case of e-coli and we spent a few days in the hospital here. Hospital care was alright, though stylistically a throwback to the 70īs. Chicken, chicken and more chicken was the entre of choice at every meal. It rained before Ollie was admitted, and it is raining now. It was nice in between.
Well, anyway, we are leaving La Paz. We are going north for until our 30 day Bolivia visa runs out (basically Christmas Day, but we hear the fines arenīt too bad for overstaying your visit!). Then on to Chile. Or maybe sooner, we hear the bugs are really bad in the Pampa at the moment!
