G'day from New Zealand
G'day from New Zealand. Tomorrow, I leave Auckland New Zealand on a motorcycle I just bought from a local dealer. It's a an older Suzuki GS 500 but it should do nicely.
The weather here is super humid with temperatures in the low 30's. My neck and left foot are sun burned, but I'm not complaining! I also went to visit this tall ship named the Alvei (look for on web) that I heard was in Auckland which is sailing around the world. I have asked to sail on it for 10 days to the south island in the beginning of March. I hope I can time it just right.
In the next few weeks I will be travelling south through New Zealand and look forward to try sime surfing as well as swimming through an underground cave in Waitomo which is supposed to be lit up by glow worms. Pretty weird eh? anyhow, New Zealand is beuatiful -- take England and throw it into the South Pacific, sprinkle some Maori natives here and there and voila...
PS, I can get loads of baked beans down here -- my favourite.
