Venice
Here is my debut on the story side of this trip! Well, after a great time in Florence, we took a nice morning train to Venice. A nice in-flight service served us Coke and cookies. Nice for a change to be on a clean train here in Italy. Normally they throw you on those hoopty trains and call it good.
Venice is more than anyone could ever describe. The canals are beautiful and the bridges are wonderfull. Its fun to just walk around and get lost in the little ally ways and find your way back to nowhere. Today has been mild to cool, so a rather nice change to normal Venice weather. The tourists are plentiful, but it is easy to lose them in the small quiet areas. We spend a few hours on the island of Murano, where they do glass blowing.
We are on our way to Salzburg.
