Whoa!...the Italian Coast!
After a quick trip to Pisa to see the Leaning Tower (it certainly is leaning!) we hit the train for Cinque Terre ( a place that Jim, a friend of ours, told us about--he served his mission in Milan). It is incredible. We laid on the beach, which was kind of gravelly but stunning aquamarine waters and coves fill these 5 tiny cliff side towns on the coast of Italy north of Pisa. We leisurely strolled through the towns, stopping to sunbathe, eat our favorite flavor gellatos (banana and hazelnut) and munch on more pizza.
It was great to take a relaxing break from all the busy sightseeing in the city.
We hit the train for Venice tomorrow.
